  1. Service. Cipher Sleuths, LLC d/b/a Northline Intelligence provides licensed access to aggregated, anonymized analysis of publicly documented prosecutions ("the Service") under the Individual, Professional or Organization license purchased.
  2. Eligibility and approval. Access is granted only after the operator approves the account. The operator may decline or end any account. Recurring charges for declined accounts are cancelled.
  3. Permitted use. Research, education, trust-and-safety, law-enforcement, prevention, and investigative-analysis purposes.
  4. Prohibited use. (a) Any purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act or similar law, including employment, tenant, credit or insurance screening; (b) attempting to identify or contact any person, defendant or victim, including by combining the Service with other data; (c) redistributing, reselling, publishing or sharing the Service, its exports, reports or screenshots outside the licensed users; (d) sharing sign-in links or accounts; (e) automated scraping or attempts to bypass access limits; (f) any unlawful purpose.
  5. Users and seats. Individual and Professional licenses are for one named user. Organization licenses cover up to 10 named users added by the account owner. Each user signs in with their own email address; signing in ends that user's other sessions.
  6. Licensing marks and monitoring. Pages, exports and reports carry visible and hidden marks that identify the licensee, and access is logged (sign-ins, views, downloads, IP addresses). Daily allowances apply to record-level data. The operator may use these marks and logs to investigate and enforce this license, including suspending access.
  7. Analyst services (Organization). Quarterly briefings, custom analysis hours, the annual training workshop and the area profile are scheduled on request during the license year and do not carry over.
  8. Nature of the data. The Service is derived from public court records and government press releases. Categories are assigned by automated methods and may contain errors. Trends reflect what is prosecuted and documented, not the total extent of offending. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty.
  9. Fees. Subscriptions renew until cancelled from the Account page. One-time purchases provide 12 months of access. Invoices are due net 30; access may be suspended for unpaid invoices.
